Interim Payroll Advisor
4-5 month FTC
Can be fully remote or hybrid working, based in Norwich.
Flexible working hours, can be full or part-time - a minimum of 3 days per week required.

The role:

Alongside day‑to‑day payroll duties, you’ll also play a key part in the implementation of a new HR & payroll system (PeopleXD), helping to shape processes, test functionality and support a smooth transition.

  • Processing end‑to‑end payroll accurately and on time
  • Handling payroll queries 
  • Supporting the implementation of PeopleXD, including testing, data validation, and helping document new processes
  • Working closely with HR, Finance, and wider teams to ensure payroll data is correct and compliant
  • Maintaining up‑to‑date knowledge of payroll legislation
  • Supporting ad‑hoc payroll tasks as needed

Skills required:

Experience of People XD is essential to be able to support with the system implementation. The role also requires hands-on payroll experience, ideally at an advisory level.
