A strong opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to join a busy, service‑led organisation in a key leadership role. This position leads a centralised finance team responsible for delivering accurate management accounts, robust financial controls and high‑quality reporting to a wide range of stakeholders.
This role would suit someone who enjoys improving processes, developing people and taking ownership of getting the numbers right.
The role:

• Lead, manage and develop a team of management accountants
• Own the timely and accurate production of monthly management accounts
• Ensure strong balance sheet reconciliations and disciplined financial controls
• Support budgeting, forecasting and year‑end processes
• Review payroll postings, client money calculations and internal submissions
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, maintaining a clear “no surprises” approach
• Identify and drive improvements across processes, reporting and systems
• Work closely with senior finance colleagues to support wider business initiatives

About you:

• Qualified or nearly‑qualified accountant
• Strong background in management accounting
• Proven experience managing and developing a team
• Confident juggling a busy workload while maintaining quality and attention to detail
• A clear communicator who builds trusted relationships across the business
• Comfortable driving change, improving processes and strengthening team capability
