Engineering Team Leader

I’m currently recruiting for an Engineering Team Leader to join a fast-paced manufacturing site, leading a shift engineering team and taking ownership of maintenance, breakdown response, and performance on shift.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on leadership role that combines technical expertise with team management in a 24/7 production environment. The role operates on a 5 on / 5 off rotating days and nights shift pattern, offering a great balance and consistent structure.

Core duties include:

• Leading and coordinating all engineering activity on shift
• Managing breakdowns and ensuring minimal downtime
• Driving planned and reactive maintenance standards
• Supporting and developing a team of engineers
• Working closely with production to keep operations running smoothly

About you:

• Strong background in electrical or multi-skilled engineering
• Experience within a manufacturing or production environment
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience
• Confident problem-solver with a proactive approach
