Facilities Manager | Cambridge | 18–24 Month FTC
I'm working with an innovative research organisation seeking a Facilities Manager to take ownership of site operations across laboratory and office environments.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced facilities professional with a background in regulated, technical, or scientific environments to play a key role in supporting critical research activities.
Key responsibilities:
- Managing planned and reactive maintenance programmes
- Overseeing contractors, service providers, and site services
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety and statutory requirements
- Supporting laboratory infrastructure, utilities, and critical building systems
- Driving facilities projects, improvements, and sustainability initiatives
Ideal background:
- Facilities or Estates Management experience
- Experience within laboratory, research, healthcare, or technical environments
- Strong contractor, compliance, and budget management skills
