Our client is looking for a proactive and highly organised Warehouse Coordinator to become an integral part of their operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role which includes administration, logistical and warehouse duties to keep things running smoothly.

This role would suit someone who enjoys taking ownership and solving problems. From coordinating equipment to supporting operations, you'll be a key part in making sure everything is organised and efficient. You'll be involved in both office and warehouse responsibilities so must be comfortable in a varied position.

The Details:
  • Starting salary circa £29,000
  • Monday to Friday 07:30-16:00
  • 28 days holiday + paid shutdown at Christmas

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinating the movement of equipment coming in and out and maintaining accurate equipment records
  • Taking ownership of the warehouse, keeping it organised, safe and well maintained
  • Making sure the office teams have correct supplies and supporting with their H&S checks
  • Managing goods in/out processes and liaising with team members about this
  • Conducting stock takes as needed
  • Liaising with suppliers, manufacturers, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Assisting with equipment repairs, returns, and warranty claims
  • Occasional use of forklift and dropping off vehicles when required
  • Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety policies and regulations
Experience/Skills needed:
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Previous experience within a coordination role within engineering or similar environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience within warehouse, stores, logistics, or operations environments
  • Competency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • A willingness to take ownership and continuously improve ways of working
  • Driving licence and forklift licence
