We are seeking an organised and proactive HR Advisor to support the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources function. This role plays a key part in delivering an efficient and professional HR service across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, HR administration, and compliance activities.
The successful candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to maintain confidentiality while providing excellent support to employees and managers.

Key Responsibilities
HR Administration
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
  • Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, and HR documentation.
  • Process employee changes including promotions, salary amendments, and role changes.
  • Manage HR correspondence and respond to employee queries.
  • Ensure employee files are compliant and up to date.
Recruitment & Onboarding
  • Support recruitment activities, including advertising vacancies and arranging interviews.
  • Coordinate pre-employment checks, references, and right-to-work documentation.
  • Prepare induction schedules and onboarding materials.
  • Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new starters.
Employee Relations Support
  • Provide administrative support for disciplinary, grievance, and absence management processes.
  • Take notes during HR meetings where required.
  • Assist managers with HR policies and procedures.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and company events.

Compliance & Reporting
  • Ensure compliance with employment law and company policies.
  • Monitor mandatory training and certification requirements.
  • Produce HR reports and management information as required.
  • Support HR audits and compliance checks.

Skills & Experience

Essential
  • Previous experience in an HR administration or HR co-ordination role.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and work to deadlines.
Desirable
  • CIPD Level 3 qualification
  • Experience using HR Information Systems (HRIS).
  • Knowledge of UK employment legislation.
  • Experience supporting recruitment and onboarding processes.
