Hours: Full Time | Permanent [40 p/w]

We are seeking an experienced CNC Miller to join our growing manufacturing team. Working within a fast-paced innovative, precision engineering environment, you will be responsible for setting, operating, and running 4-axis CNC milling machines to produce high-quality components for the Automotive/Aerospace/Defence/Motorsport Industries.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist who takes pride in producing precision parts and maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
  • Set, operate, moniter 4-axis CNC milling machines.
  • Manufacture precision automotive components to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Perform machine set-ups, tool changes, and offset adjustments.
  • Produce first-off inspections and ensure components meet quality standards.
  • Conduct in-process quality checks using measuring equipment including micrometers, verniers, and CMM reports where required.
  • Optimise machine performance and cycle times.
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and identify process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organised working environment.
Requirements Essential
  • Proven experience as a CNC Miller within a precision engineering or low volume automotive/aerospace manufacturing environment.
  • Strong experience operating and setting 3 axis and 4-axis CNC milling machines.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Knowledge of tight tolerance machining techniques.
  • Competent in the use of inspection and measuring equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable
  • CNC programming experience (Fanuc, Heidenhain, Siemens, or similar controls).
  • Experience producing aerospace, motorsport, performance automotive, or high-precision engineering components.
  • Apprentice-trained engineering background.
  • CAD/CAM experience.
