This is an excellent opportunity for an Audit professional looking for their first move to industry.
 
This is a unique role for a qualified accountant to join a successful international organisation as a Group Statutory & Tax Accountant. Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will play a key role in delivering statutory reporting and tax compliance obligations across a complex, multi-entity group structure.
This position offers exposure to both UK and international operations, providing the opportunity to work closely with finance teams, external auditors, and tax advisers while contributing to a variety of statutory, audit, and tax-related projects.
Hybrid working is available, the majority of your time will be working from home, with the office based in Norwich.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Support the preparation of Group consolidated financial statements.
  • Lead the preparation of UK statutory accounts in accordance with FRS 101.
  • Assist with the annual audit process, including audit deliverables, auditor liaison, and timeline management.
  • Support overseas finance teams with local statutory reporting and filing requirements.
  • Coordinate and communicate statutory audit adjustments to finance stakeholders.
  • Assist with UK corporation tax compliance, including tax computations and returns.
  • Support year-end tax reporting and cash tax management activities.
  • Maintain and manage global compliance tracking processes.
  • Liaise with external auditors and tax advisers.
  • Ensure tax processes and documentation remain compliant with governance requirements.
  • Support transfer pricing documentation reviews and internal audit activities.
  • Monitor developments in accounting standards and tax legislation.
  • Contribute to ad hoc finance, statutory reporting, and compliance projects.

We're looking for a technically strong and commercially aware finance professional who thrives in a collaborative and international environment.
 
 
Essential Requirements
  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA
  • Experience in financial audits, statutory accounts preparation, and UK tax compliance.
  • Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable
  • Experience preparing UK corporation tax computations.
  • Knowledge of accounts production software.
  • Exposure to international reporting environments and multinational group structures.
