Working as part of a small but highly professional HR team, you will support the delivery of a comprehensive, business-focused HR service across a diverse workforce. This is a broad generalist role offering exposure to employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, HR projects, policy development, and people initiatives.
The Role Reporting to the HR Manager, responsibilities will include:
- Managing a wide range of employee relations cases including absence, performance, disciplinary, grievance, family leave, and flexible working matters.
- Providing advice, coaching, and support to managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practice.
- Supporting and coordinating end-to-end recruitment and selection activities.
- Contributing to talent attraction and talent pipeline initiatives
- Supporting onboarding, probation reviews, employee lifecycle processes, and exit interviews.
- Producing HR reports, analysing data, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Supporting wellbeing initiatives and wider HR projects.
- Maintaining HR systems and employee records while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and GDPR requirements.
About You We are interested in hearing from HR professionals who can demonstrate:
- CIPD Level 3 qualification or above.
- Previous experience in an HR Advisor or HR Officer role.
- Strong employee relations experience with confidence handling a variety of cases.
- Sound working knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience using HR systems and interpreting people-related data.
- A proactive, resilient, and team-oriented approach.
