An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Administrator to join a well-established organisation in Norwich on a 12-month fixed-term contract, working 3 days a week (24 hours)
This is a varied and rewarding role offering the chance to support the full employee lifecycle whilst working within a busy HR team. The successful candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering a professional HR service.

The Role
As HR Administrator, you will provide comprehensive administrative support across all areas of HR, ensuring processes run smoothly and efficiently. You will act as a key point of contact for employees and managers, supporting a range of HR activities from recruitment and onboarding through to employee relations and payroll administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing HR administration throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contractual changes and offboarding
  • Preparing employment contracts, offer letters and other HR documentation
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and ensuring GDPR compliance
  • Updating HR and payroll systems with employee information and changes
  • Coordinating pre-employment checks, including references and right-to-work verification
  • Supporting onboarding activities to ensure a positive new starter experience
  • Assisting with employee relations processes, including disciplinary, grievance and absence management cases
  • Taking notes during formal HR meetings and maintaining confidential records
  • Supporting monthly payroll administration by providing accurate employee data
  • Assisting with employee benefits administration and responding to employee queries
  • Supporting HR compliance activities, audits and policy administration
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Previous experience in an HR role, ideally CIPD Level 3 qualified
  • Experience supporting employee lifecycle processes
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to manage priorities and work to deadlines
  • Experience handling confidential and sensitive information
