This strategic role is integral to maintaining the highest standards of service and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities:- Deliver a professional and friendly reception service during core working hours, providing a positive first impression to clients and visitors.
- Manage visitor sign-in, wayfinding, and front-of-house support, fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, parcels, and deliveries efficiently.
- Support parking management, assist with queries, and oversee the maintenance of shared areas.
- Coordinate and prepare meeting rooms, including setup, layouts, and AV checks, ensuring all spaces are kept tidy, stocked, and ready for use.
- Oversee daily kitchen and communal area upkeep, including restocking consumables and reporting maintenance issues.
- Act as the first point of contact for IT, facilities, and contractor-related matters, assisting with troubleshooting and liaising with suppliers.
- Contribute to community engagement by promoting events and encouraging occupier interaction.
- Support operational administration, including updating booking systems, managing access controls, and ensuring health and safety standards.
Essential Skills & Experience:- Proven experience in front-of-house or reception within a managed workspace, hospitality, or similar environment.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work well independently, showing initiative and adaptability.
- Competent in basic IT troubleshooting and Microsoft Office.
- Valid full driving licence and own vehicle, as travel between centres may be required.
Desirable Skills & Experience:- Experience coordinating facilities and liaising with contractors.
- Familiarity with building management practices.
- Previous experience in a co-working or conference centre setting.
Preferred Education & Experience:- GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English is essential; a degree level qualification is desirable.
- Hands-on experience in administrative roles with a focus on facilities or customer service.
