Pure Resourcing Solutions are delighted to be partnering with a growing international organisation to recruit an experienced HR Manager. This is a unique opportunity for a commercially minded HR professional to lead the people agenda across a UK-based operation while providing specialist support on French employment matters.
 
Reporting into the senior leadership team, you will act as the trusted HR adviser to managers and executives, combining strategic input with hands-on delivery across the full employee lifecycle.
 
This role would suit an experienced HR Manager or Senior HR Business Partner who is comfortable operating in a standalone capacity within a fast-paced, international environment.
 
The Role

As the lead HR professional, you will be responsible for delivering effective people strategies, managing employee relations matters, supporting organisational change, and ensuring HR operations run efficiently across multiple jurisdictions.
 
Key responsibilities will include:
 

• Acting as the primary HR adviser to senior leaders and managers.
• Leading complex employee relations matters, with a particular focus on French employment law.
• Providing guidance on disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability and performance issues.
• Supporting organisational change initiatives, restructures and workforce planning activities.
• Managing recruitment processes and partnering with leaders on hiring needs.
• Driving performance management, talent development and succession planning initiatives.
• Overseeing payroll inputs, employee records, HR policies and employment documentation.
• Managing external HR and legal partners where specialist advice is required.
• Ensuring HR processes, governance and reporting are accurate, compliant and fit for purpose.

 
About You

We are keen to speak with HR professionals who have:

• Significant HR Manager or HR Business Partner experience.
• Strong working knowledge of French employment law and employee relations practices.
• Fluency in both French and English, with the ability to manage sensitive employee discussions and legal documentation in French.
• Experience supporting organisational change, talent management and recruitment.
• A commercial and pragmatic approach to problem solving.
• The ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate with credibility at leadership level.
• Experience working within an international or multi-country environment would be advantageous.
• CIPD qualification (or equivalent) would be beneficial.
• Ability to travel to France on a monthly basis
